My name is Nicola S. Casper-Hoesl, I am a German lawyer qualified in Germany and licensed as a foreign legal consultant in Colorado, USA.
I was born in Munich, Germany where I graduated from high school in 2006. After a gap year in Ghana and Italy, I studied law at the University of Passau in Germany (graduated in 2013) and obtained my master's degree in international law at the University of Cape Town, South Africa (2014). I completed my practical training (called "Referendariat") at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin, Germany, the German embassy in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in a major international law firm in Munich, Germany as well as the local courts of Potsdam, Germany, before I passed the bar in 2016.
I worked for various international law firms in London, Berlin, and Munich before I moved to Colorado, United States in 2021.
I have been practicing since 2016 and found my specialization in
I am fluent in German, English, and Italian. Being able to explain German legal procedures to American and/or international clients in their native language is a big comforting factor to many of my clients. German clients, on the other side, appreciate my international perspective and experience.
Due to the cooperation with the law firm Hösl, Hösl & Dr. Hösl in Germany, I am able to enforce German claims before German courts.
Good cooperation between a client and a lawyer is essential to be successful. My main focus is working with you and coming up with a plan to get the results you desire. A personal relationship as well as constant and steady correspondence with my clients are my priority in every case.
I offer a first consultation via phone, zoom, email, or in person. During the first consultation, I evaluate your case and explain the requirements and chances of success followed by a recommendation on how to proceed.
